Apostle stamp for ALL your papers from
your Ministry of Foreign Affairs OR the Secretary of
State. (not necessary for some nationalities, please
check with us regarding that).
ALL papers must be
translated and authenticated by a Greek Embassy or
Consultant.
In
case that the Greek embassy or consultant of your area
does NOT do translations and they suggest you an
external translator, please make sure to take the
translations then BACK to the Greek embassy or
consultant, to stamp them and authenticate them,
otherwise THE TOWN HALL DOES NOT ACCEPT THEM.
In
case you don't have time to do the translations or
you find difficulties,
our office can handle the translations and
authentications of your papers by sending them to the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Athens which has the
jurisdiction to do so.
If
your documents are in International form, no translation
is needed for the civil wedding. All the above documents
are necessary and in case you will have your own
witnesses, please make sure to send us copies of their
passport along with yours.
THE TOWN
HALL DOES NOT ACCEPT TRANSLATIONS FROM OTHER SOURCES
THAN THE GREEK EMBASSIES, CONSULTANTS OR THE MINISTRY OF
FOREIGN AFFAIRS IN ATHENS.
WE REQUIRE THE ORIGINAL PAPERS IN OUR
HANDS, AT LEAST 1 MONTH BEFORE THE WEDDING AND FAXED
COPIES
BEFORE
YOU SEND
THEM FOR REVIEW.
